Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs; multistate licensure if NLC state.
• Obtains and maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and interdisciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff.
