Job summary

Ballinger Memorial Hospital District is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care across shifts in Ballinger, TX. The RN will assess patients, plan care, administer treatments, educate families, and ensure safe care environments. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Required licensure in Texas with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Experience of 1 year preferred; multiple shifts including full-time, part-time, or PRN may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide direct patient care and treatments according to established policies and procedures.
• Educate patients and families on healthcare issues and post-hospital care
• Ensure a safe environment for patients and staff through supervision and adherence to safety protocols.
