Job summary

Good Samaritan in Nebraska is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care using the full nursing process across all care phases. You will collaborate with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care across shifts.

The role may include duties as charge nurse, delegating to licensed and unlicensed staff while maintaining high standards of practice and ethics.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA where applicable.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing or multistate license if in an NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized care.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel while ensuring safe, reliable care.
