Job summary

The Actors Fund Home in Englewood, NJ is seeking Full Time or Per-Diem Registered Nurses to provide direct nursing care to residents under supervision. Responsibilities include assessing residents, reviewing care plans, coordinating nursing services, administering medications, and charting care details.

Applicants should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active NJ RN license and prior long-term care experience. Weekend availability and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active RN license in New Jersey.
• Experience as RN in a long-term care facility or related health care facility.
• Knowledge of electronic charting a plus.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate residents per policy and procedure throughout their stay.
• Review resident plans of care for goals, problems, interventions and revisions.
• Coordinate nursing services to maintain residents' total regimen of care.
• Administer medications as ordered by physician.
• Document care and maintain accurate charts and nurse notes.
