Job summary

BayCare Health Systems is seeking an experienced RN First Assistant (RNFA) to join the Staffing Resource Office. Multiple 13-week full-time pool assignments offered, with varying facility schedules.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years RN operating room experience, CNOR certification, and completion of a technical program. BLS, RN license, and CNOR are required. On-call and travel considerations apply.

Qualifications

• RN First Assistant (RNFA) responsibilities in OR environments.
• Strong clinical skills related to surgical nursing.
• Excellent communication within the surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide RNFA duties during surgery with surgeon oversight.
• Model professional behavior and develop nursing staff.
• Assist with trocar insertion and local anesthesia under surgeon supervision.
• Require minimum 3 years OR RN experience; CNOR and technical program completion required.
