Job summary

ProMedica's Flower Hospital is seeking an RN, First Assistant in the Plastic Surgery department to support surgeons during general and specialized procedures. You will prepare patients for surgery and monitor recovery, ensuring safe, high-quality care.

This role requires strong clinical skills and teamwork in a busy operating room environment. The position is full-time, days shift, 40 hours per week, with a focus on patient safety and intraoperative readiness.

Qualifications

  • Must have successfully completed a course in preparing the registered nurse as a first assistant in surgery.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors.
  • 2 years of intraoperative clinical experience.
  • Requires current licensure in the State of Ohio to practice professional nursing.
  • Current specialty certification required (CNOR) issued by the Certification Board Perioperative Nursing (CBPN)
  • BLS
