Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA, seeks an RN First Assistant (RNFA) for per-diem day shifts. You will support the surgeon across pre, intra, and post-operative phases and step in when the physician is not available.

The role requires an RN license in California and BLS certification. Minimum 3 years of peri-operative nursing (scrub and circulator) experience is required; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a course in RN First Assisting.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire.
• 3 years experience in peri-operative nursing as scrub and circulator.

RN First Assistant (RNFA) in our Operating Room at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for assisting the primary surgeon pre, intra, and post operatively with organized instruction and supervised practice. Acts in absence of qualified physician.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of a course in RN First Assisting.
• Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Within 30 days of hire: California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization
• 3 years experience in peri-operative nursing practice as both scrub and circulator.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
