Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN licensure in-state and BLS certification

Job description

Role Overview:

This position involves providing high-quality, direct patient care in a technically complex Progressive Care Unit (PCU).

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver top-of-scope care, prioritizing patient safety and evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Model proficiency through precepting and support ongoing learning for new healthcare professionals.
• Participate in a comprehensive four-phase Critical Care Fellowship, including simulation, adult learning, and competency validation.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, secure, and high-quality clinical environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board if less than three years of experience.
• Current RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of six months nursing experience.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
