Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Progressive Care on site in Colorado. This full-time position involves day and night rotations and an orientation path under the Progressive Care Fellowship program focused on evidence-based practice and patient safety.

You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, align with AACN Synergy Model standards, and participate in precepting staff. A strong benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program or state-board approved program (if < 3 years of experience).
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience.
• Valid BLS CPR card (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) with card in hand before start date and card good for at least 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize patient wellness, perspectives, and evidence‑based practices.
• Model proficiency through precepting new nurses and staff.
• Contribute to patient safety and quality at the point of care.
• Participate in a four‑phase orientation under the Progressive Care Fellowship program, including simulation, blocked learning, and competency verification.

Qualifications

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $35.29 – $54.71 per hour, dependent on experience.
• Pay schedule: 72 hours per pay period (bi‑weekly).
