Job summary

Advocate Health in Sheboygan is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Observation. This part-time role (24 hours/week) features 12-hour day shifts and requires weekend and holiday availability. You will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and advocate for patients in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will assess and plan care, implement evidence-based practices, and help ensure safe, efficient patient transitions within the unit.

Qualifications

• RN license in applicable state.
• BLS required; other certifications may be required based on specialty.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Typically 1+ year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for patients requiring short-term monitoring and evaluation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Use evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Identify risks and maintain a safe care environment.
• Float to other units as needed.
