Job summary

Mary Rutan Health seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care, communicating promptly with the care team about changes in clinical status. You will monitor cardiac status, perform thorough assessments, and respond calmly in crises, while adhering to staffing policies and service standards.

Flexibility to float and work weekends/holidays is required. Required are Ohio RN licensure, BLS; ACLS within 12 months; NRP for FBC, and PALS for ED/OR/PACU/SDS within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State Nursing Licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 12 months of hire.
• NRP is required for FBC Nurses prior to completion of orientation.
• PALS certification for ED/OR/PACU/SDS within 12 months of hire.

Communicates with all members of the healthcare team, as appropriate related to changes in patient's clinical condition including diagnostic study results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Is able to perform general nursing duties.Assumes responsibility for unit patient populations. Understands and be willing to adhere to the service excellence standards established for Mary Rutan Health. Demonstrates the ability to complete thorough patient assessments. Demonstrates effective communication skills necessary to interact efficiently with all customers. Able to work independently and demonstrate ability to delegate appropriately.
