Job description

Maxim Healthcare in the Exton office is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with adult patients in their own homes.

Pay Range: $40 - $43

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to clients receiving contracted services, as required.
• Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions from prescriber as patient needs change.
• Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervene as applicable in response to changes in patient condition and report to appropriate physician or supervisor.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor and document effectiveness.
• Review plan of care and protocols, identify areas for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting, and discharge planning as needed.

Requirements:

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.
