Job summary

Winona Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct care and coordinate the nursing process from admission to discharge. The role requires an RN or BSN, MN license, CPR certification, and active participation in continuing education.

The position offers a 2nd shift with a favorable sign-on bonus structure, and opportunities to educate staff, residents and families while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• 2- or 4-year nursing degree, RN or BSN.
• RN license MN and CPR certification.
• Active participation in continuing education within the first year.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook) and Cerner/EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care from admission to discharge using the nursing process.
• Supervise staff and delegate duties with effective communication.
• Facilitate education for staff, residents, families, and community.
• Provide nursing oversight to the LPN and Nursing Assistants.
• Maintain infection control procedures and CSI/LSW compliance.
• Record and communicate patient data in the EMR.
• Act as a resource to team members and students.
