Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Reno, NV. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations and coordinate with the care team.

The position requires ED experience, travel nursing background, and active NV RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications. 3x12 night shifts are scheduled, with opportunities to float to different units as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years of Emergency Department experience.
• Travel nursing experience preferred.
• NV RN license required prior to start.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications.

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on documented standards.
• Engage in quality, compassionate interaction with patients and their families.
• Maintain excellent documentation and care standards.
• Float to different areas within the organization as needed, up to competency levels.

• Provide care while adhering to standards of quality specific to the diverse patient population.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the nursing process. This role is accountable for individualized patient outcomes across the care episode, providing comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including their families or caregivers. The RN is responsible for diagnosing and treating human responses to health problems, as well as coordinating care among other professionals as needed.
