Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse for a 13-week assignment on the night shift. You will work 3x12-hour nights (19:00–07:00) with every-other-weekend requirements, delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced ER and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in ER nursing, current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications, and a compact state license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Experience with charge duties and patient ratios in emergency settings preferred.
• State licensure (compact license accepted).

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and urgent care to patients in a timely manner.
• Perform assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans for patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain effective communication.
• Assist in emergency procedures and interventions as necessary.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions.
