Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Portales, NM with ER specialty and night shift coverage. The position offers travel pay and a blended compensation package designed for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include delivering immediate nursing care, rapid assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team in emergency situations. A valid CA license, BLS, and 1 year of recent experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing.
• Active CA license.
• Active BLS.
• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience within the last 3 years.
• Additional certifications may be required.
• Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).

• Perform rapid patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and prioritize care based on patient condition and urgency.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, treatments, and emergency interventions as ordered.
• Assist physicians and the healthcare team with procedures, diagnostic testing, and emergency care.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and participate in resuscitation and life-saving interventions when needed.
• Provide patient and family support and communicate relevant information regarding treatment and care.

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hourly $24.74, Stipend (Lodging $791.00 + M&I $476.00) = $1,267.00,

Total Comp: $2,157.64

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 50+ miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.
