Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract on night shifts in Mount Vernon, Illinois. The role focuses on rapid assessment and management of emergent cases in a high-acuity ED.

You will handle STEMI, stroke care, dysrhythmias, neuro-trauma and trauma injuries, with strong emphasis on IV therapy, airway management and collaborative teamwork for patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and eligibility to practice.
• Experience in emergency department critical care.
• Ability to manage STEMI and stroke cases and dysrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Manage STEMI and stroke patients in ED.
• Interpret dysrhythmias and monitor ECG.
• Provide IV therapy, advanced airway support, and trauma care.
• Collaborate with trauma team during critical events.
