Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff seeks a qualified RN for a 13-week ER assignment in Ohio. The role requires an active RN license, CPR certification, and a strong ability to manage urgent patient needs in a busy emergency department.

Expect 7AM-7PM shifts, treating patients from triage through discharge. Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience is preferred, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and solid critical thinking.

Description

The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process.Accepts responsibility for the direction of co-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation of care.Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Essential Job Functions

Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care of each patient according to the nursing process.Provides quality care based on assessment needs and established plans of care.Educates patients and families from admission through discharge.Documents the nursing process accurately and legibly.Notifies physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status.Administers medications and performs treatments safely and accurately.Implements physician orders as written.Ensures equipment and supplies are available for patient care and reports any malfunctions.

Physical Capacity Demand

Medium work: Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible up to 10 pounds of force often.

Job Considerations

Requires strong communication and collaboration abilities, problem-solving and time management skills, and sound judgment.Potential exposures may include electrical equipment.No special environmental considerations or protective equipment are required.
