Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an ER Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract in Texas. Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 with a fast-paced ED environment and diverse patient population. Candidates must have 2+ years in emergency care and current ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, manage lines and ventilated patients, and document in Epic. Travel nursing experience is preferred and state licensure must be active at application.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
• ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are required.
• State or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of application.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The ER Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of emergency care practices, trauma protocols, and will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency care and manage patient assessments
• Perform interventions including blood product administration, central line care, and IV sedation management
• Provide care for ventilated patients and manage dysrhythmic events
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes
• Maintain medical records and documentation utilizing the Epic charting system

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Current ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• State or Compact RN license must be in hand at time of application
• Travel nursing experience preferred
