Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room on a 13-week travel assignment in Chesapeake, VA. Night shifts are 12 hours, with a typical 1:4 patient ratio and expectation to work weekends and holidays as required.

Description:We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room.The position requires three 12-hour shifts per week.Candidates should expect to work every other weekend and holidays as required.The typical patient ratio is 1:4, which may increase to 1:6 when caring for Medical-Surgical hold patients.Stroke patients will be assigned 1:1 until admitted or through the tPA treatment window.STEMI and cardiac arrest patients are also assigned 1:1.No psychiatric patients are assigned to this role.The environment is fast-paced and requires strong clinical skills.Candidates should be prepared for a variety of patient diagnoses and conditions.Interdisciplinary support is available, including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams.Our Emergency Room features a split flow area for various patient levels.Special equipment includes advanced resuscitation and monitoring tools.Fit testing for N95 respirators may be required, and all candidates must meet specific compliance standards.Successful candidates will demonstrate proficiency in patient care and emergency response scenarios.All candidates are expected to adhere to compliance and safety protocols rigorously.
