Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Room assignment in Charleston, WV. Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13 weeks duration with travel-friendly requirements. Candidates must have active WV/Compact RN license and 2+ years RN experience, 1 year in ER, plus BLS/ACLS/PALS and CPI certifications.

Telemetry, IV therapy, phlebotomy and cardiac drip management are essential. Experience with neuro/psych conditions, respiratory care, and non-invasive airway management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• 1 year of in-specialty ER experience
• Active WV/Compact RN license; pending license accepted for submission
• BLS; ACLS; PALS; CPI certifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a 5:1 patient ratio for adults and geriatrics
• Night shifts, three times a week; travel RNs welcome
• Float to the Emergency Department as needed; weekend shifts every other weekend
• Access ports, start IVs, and manage blood products; administer high-flow nasal therapy as needed
• Knowledge of heparin protocols; manage CHF and COPD exacerbations
• Flu vaccination required unless exempt; covid vaccine not required
• Provide documentation and medical management to ensure patient safety and timely interventions

Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting.The role involved working night shifts, three times a week.You will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 5:1 for adults and geriatrics.Travel RNs with the appropriate experience are welcome to apply.Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.You will float to the Emergency Department if needed.Strong skills in accessing ports, starting IVs, and managing blood products are essential.Experience with administering high flow nasal cannula and managing ventilated patients is preferred.Knowledge of heparin protocols and managing acute conditions such as CHF and COPD exacerbations is necessary.Candidates must possess a clean license verification and provide a minimum of two references from nursing management within the past two years.All personnel are required to receive the flu vaccine unless a medical exemption is provided.Covid vaccine is not required for this position.
