Job summary

Riverdale Center for Nursing and Healing in Riverdale, GA is hiring a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing care for residents on the weekend. The RN Supervisor will supervise LPNs and CNAs, assess resident needs, and ensure high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

Key duties include staffing recommendations, interdisciplinary care planning, QM/QI reporting, and active participation in quality improvement initiatives. GA RN license and COVID-19 vaccination are required.

Qualifications

• Supervise LPNs and CNAs on weekend shifts.
• Assess resident needs and prioritize care plans.
• Administer nursing care and monitor patient status.
• Lead and participate in QM/QI reporting and audits.

Responsibilities

• Assists Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing, interviews and orientation of staff.
• Provide clinical leadership with the DON and Unit Manager to plan, organize, direct and implement a comprehensive nursing program.
• Lead Nursing leadership to meet organizational goals and center targets.
• Collaborate with DON to ensure timely compliance among nurses, CNAs, and medical staff.
• Initiate and actively participate in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.
• Ensure Care Plans address all indicators and drive quality improvements.
• Collaborate with caregivers and other disciplines to track resident progress toward goals.
• Communicate effectively with multiple disciplines to coordinate care.
• Prepare QM/QI reports and analyze data to improve care quality.

Riverdale Center for Nursing and Healing is Hiring a Every Other Weekend RN Supervisor!

We're seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to be responsible for supervising the delivery of care to our residents. The RN Supervisor will assess resident needs, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise both LPNs and CNAs.

Some of the RN Supervisor Job Responsibilities Include:

• Assists Director of Nursing and Unit Manager with staffing - Recommendations regarding needs of the Nursing department, interviews, hire and orients professional staff.


• Clinical Leadership - the RN Supervisor Works with the DON and Unit Manager to effectively plan, organize, direct and implement a comprehensive nursing program


• Provides Nursing Leadership in order to meet goals of the organization and the individual center


• Works with the DON to ensure timely and accurate compliance between nurses, CNA and professional medical staff.


• Initiates and actively participates in Interdisciplinary Care Plan meetings.


• The RN Supervisor Ensures the Interdisciplinary Care Plan addresses all triggered indicators.


• Collaborates with nursing caregivers and other disciplines to obtain information on residents' status and progress toward care plan goals.


• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of other disciplines


• Prepares accurate reports of the Quality Measure/Quality Indicators (QM/QI) derived from the RAI/MDS. Performs tracks and trends of this data to enhance the knowledge of the Interdisciplinary Team and improve quality of care through performance improvement initiatives.


• Active involvement in Quality Improvement.


• Implements an educational plan to meet changing program or service needs for self and others.

Requirements:

• RN Licensed in the State of GA


• Vaccinated Against Covid-19
