Job summary

South County Health in Rhode Island seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate total nursing care within the Endoscopy Department. This role involves patient and family teaching and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to maintain professional nursing standards through the Nursing Process.

The ideal candidate will have RI RN licensure or NLC, BLS from AHA, and at least 1 year of acute care or Endoscopy experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Rhode Island or via Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Endoscopy experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate total nursing care for Endoscopy patients.
• Provide patient and family teaching.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to maintain nursing standards.
• Apply the Nursing Process: Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Evaluation.

Job Summary

Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the Endoscopy Department setting. Provides comprehensive care for the life span of patients, where applicable. Effectively delivers patient care through Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Implementation and evaluation.

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing, current or pending licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or in another state that participates in the Nurse Licensure Compact, BLS from AHA and previous Endo experience required. BLS from AHA and a minimum of 1 year acute care nursing experience required. BSN preferred.

Pay Range

$36.15 - $51.68
