Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit in Thousand Oaks, CA. This 13-week travel assignment offers a day shift (8 hours, 08:00–16:30) with no call or weekend shifts required.

The role requires a valid RN license, 2 years of nursing experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and BSN. The nurse will support endoscopy procedures, monitor patients, and document in the Epic system.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pharmacology knowledge, drug interactions, and side effects as needed.
• Complete charting in Epic and coordinate care across related units.

Description:The Registered Nurse in the Endoscopy specialty is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care in the endoscopy area.Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of care specific to the endoscopy area and GI Laboratory, including conscious sedation.Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and the ability to identify dysrhythmias is essential.Assist physicians in performing procedures in the endoscopy area, practicing medical and surgical asepsis at all times.Provide the best patient healthcare with patient privacy as a priority.Knowledgeable in pharmacology, drug interactions, and side effects is required.The average daily census is 32 patients with a capacity of 5 beds.Ability to float between the endoscopy area and GI lab when necessary.Floating to other sites may be required as needed.No call or weekend shifts are required.Charting will be done using the Epic system.Previous charge experience and knowledge of patient ratios are advantageous.Self-motivated individuals with a focus on patient care will excel in this position.
