Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Pediatric Endoscopy RN to join The Procedure Center in a fast-paced pediatric environment. The role covers both inpatient and outpatient cases, with documentation in Cerner and occasional weekend coverage.

Required are 2 years of acute or outpatient nursing experience, active California RN license, and pediatric care proficiency. ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are preferred, with strong teamwork and communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily census of 35-40 pediatric patients.
• Respond to code situations and administer blood products as needed.
• Document using the Cerner EMR system and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.

Description:

The Procedure Center RN will provide nursing care for pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment.The role involves both inpatient and outpatient pediatric cases, with adult cases on rare occasions.Candidates must have experience related to general surgery and be willing to work with minor surgical cases, including ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, Opthalmology, Urology, Dentistry, and Oncology.Documentation will be completed using the Cerner system.The RN will be expected to respond to code situations and administer blood products as necessary.Flexibility to float as required and to work weekends is necessary.Candidate should have prior experience in a similar setting and be open to training in endoscopy if needed.All candidates must be prepared to handle a daily census of 35-40 pediatric patients and demonstrate proficiency in the listed surgical procedures.Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for working with interdisciplinary teams.
