Job summary

Saint Joseph Mount Sterling, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and up to $24,000 in student loan assistance.

The RN will perform assessments, administer meds, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, maintaining patient-centered care and pursuing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• RN license in KY upon hire
• BLS/ CPR required upon hire
• ACLS required within 90 days
• PALS required within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills for patient care in the identified setting.
• Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
• Implements or modifies plan of care using assessment data, standards of care, and evidence-based practice; coordinates nursing care and discharge planning.
• Upholds ethical provisions in nursing to protect patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies and procedures.
• Evaluates progress toward attainment of desired patient outcomes.
