Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an Endoscopy RN for a travel assignment in the United States. The role requires an active RN license, BLS, ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience. You will work day shifts (6:30 AM–4 PM) on an 11-week engagement, with on-call duties after hours and weekend rotation.

EMR systems used include EPIC and Provation. The unit performs 10–20 procedures daily, with 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient cases; ECT support is part of the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide endoscopy nursing care during procedures and pre/post-op support.
  • On-call on weekdays after scheduled shift; weekend call blocks.
  • Work 6:30 AM–4:00 PM, with 9-hour shifts and 11-week duration.
  • Float to preop on days without GI cases or overstaffed.
  • Support ECT procedures with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op tasks.
  • EMR systems EPIC and Provation used for documentation.
  • Unit handles 10–20 procedures per day; mix of outpatient/inpatient cases.

Description:Endoscopy RN Travel position available.

Day shifts typically start at 6:30 AM.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, with weekends covered by call rotation.

On weekdays with no scheduled cases, individuals will convert to on-call days.

Weekday call begins at the end of the scheduled shift and runs until 7:00 AM.

Typical weekday call commitment is about 3-4 times per week.

Weekend and holiday call are in 24-hour blocks from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM.

Typical weekend commitment is around 4 weekends per 6-week rotation.

EMR systems in use are EPIC and Provation.

The unit performs 10-20 procedures per day, with approximately 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient cases.

Unit also supports ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) three times per week, where nurses assist with pre-op, intra-op (timeout and documentation), and post-op.

Scrubs provided are maroon.

On days without GI cases or when overstaffed, team members are floated to preop.

This position requires adherence to on-call expectations.
