Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in an accredited program required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in nursing preferred but less than one year acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with endoscopy procedures including colonoscopy and EGD.
• Maintaining patient care and safety at all times.
• Participating in the call schedule as required.

Facility:Baylor Scott and White Hospital- College Station, TX

Department:Endoscopy (Endo)

Shift/Status: PartTime, 40 hrs/wk

Schedule: 3 8hr. shifts (6:30am-5:00pm), plus call schedule (1-3 shifts per 6 week schedule)

Endoscopy procedures:Colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravo PH Monitoring, EGD with Endoscopic Ultrasound, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, Pediatric Colonoscopy, Pediatric EGD

Qualifications

• Accredited program or (2) two years minimum, required for this position.
• A major focus or specialization in Nursing.
• Ideally, some relevant professional experience, though less than a (1) one year would suffice.
• Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or obtain within (30) thirty days of hire or transfer.
