Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY is seeking an RN for Endoscopy on a part-time schedule. The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care, collaborating across disciplines.

Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. BSN and NY RN licensure are required, with BLS/ACLS/PALS and ICU experience mandated; Endoscopy and PACU experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• BLS, ACLS & PALS certification are required.
• ICU experience is required.
• Endoscopy experience is preferred.
• PACU experience is preferred.
• SGNA certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
• Days with every other weekend 9a-5:30p; will transition to 10 hour shifts.
