Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a registered nurse for Emergency Services with a weekend option. The role involves actively delivering high-quality emergency nursing care, supervising staff, and coordinating supplies and equipment within a fast-paced environment.

The emergency nurse will contribute to teamwork and patient safety while adhering to hospital mission and values. Alabama RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS requirements apply, with shifts 7:00 pm to 7:00 am and a 0.9 FTE schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Active RN license in Alabama required.
• PALS within one year of employment.
• ACLS within one year of employment.
• BLS required.
• Institutional intermediate EKG course completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care and manage assigned personnel, supplies and equipment.
• Promote positive relationships and teamwork across departments.
• Ensure quality and quantity of nursing care in line with standards and department mission.
