Job summary

Southeast Health's Emergency Services team is seeking an RN for a weekend option in the ED. You will deliver high-quality emergency nursing care, oversee staff, supplies, and equipment, and collaborate with departments to ensure patient safety and timely care.

Requirements include Alabama RN licensure, BLS, and completion of PALS/ACLS within a year, plus an intermediate EKG course. Shift is 7:00 am–7:00 pm, full-time at 0.9 FTE.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama.
• PALS completed within 12 months of employment.
• ACLS completed within 12 months of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• Institutional intermediate EKG course completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care and manage patient flow and priorities within the ED.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, supplies, and equipment are available and ready.
• Foster positive relationships and teamwork across department and hospital staff.
• Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Southeast Health.
