Full Time Midshift (12 hours)

Qualifications and Requirements:

Applicants should have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license and possess an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school.

Additional requirements include:

  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification (or obtained within 90 days after hire date)
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or obtained within 6 months after hire date)
  • Current American Heart Association PALS Certification (or obtained within 6 months after hire date)
  • NIHSS Certification obtained within 90 days after hire date
  • Successfully pass an arrhythmia exam within 90 days after hire date
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
  • Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Department/Unit Summary:

22 beds, 7 bay fast track, nurses typically take 4 patients, the charge nurse is unassigned. We strive to have at least one float nurse per shift to assist with the busier patients and transfers to the inpatient units.
