Job summary

Pyramid Consulting Healthcare seeks an RN- Emergency Room for a 13-week contract in Wray, CO, onsite. Provide comprehensive nursing care in the ED and manage urgent Medsurg/ED cases.

You will use Athena EMR for documentation and work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Requires 2+ years ER or Medsurg nursing, BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Procedural Sedation Module.

This contract position offers long-term potential with a leading healthcare industry client.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of ER or Medsurg nursing experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AHA Procedural Sedation Module.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Department.
• Manage urgent Medsurg/ED cases including inpatient, observation, and swingbed patients.
• Administer outpatient infusion therapies and manage various diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, post-operative care, pneumonia, and UTIs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EMR systems, specifically Athena, for patient documentation and care management.
