Job summary

Medina Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and support clinical teams on site in Texas. You will interview patients, document conditions, administer medications, prepare equipment, monitor vital signs, and respond to life-saving situations following nursing standards and hospital policy.

The role requires a Texas RN license, a BSN, and completion of required certifications within stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Registered Nurse Licensure.
• BSN degree required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications or timelines as specified.
• RN license or GN permit with Texas licensing requirements.
• 1 year of Med/Surg, CCU or ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

POSITION PURPOSE:Provides nursing care services in accordance with the policies of MHS and directives of the medical staff. Possess the ability to comprehend and follow written or verbal instruction or directions. Adheres to MHS Standard Precaution policy and procedure. Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.
