Qualifications

  • Idaho RN license (compact accepted); must obtain Idaho license within 90 days of employment.
  • Associate Degree.
  • Basic Life Support (ARC/AHA) required or within 30 days of employment.
  • Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required or within 6 months of employment.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required or within 6 months of employment.
  • NVCI (CPI) certification or within 60 days of employment.
  • TNCC and ENPC required or within one year of employment for experienced RNs.
  • 1+ years ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously with general nursing care and prioritization.
  • Act calmly and professionally, especially under pressure.
  • Provide follow up care instructions and necessary referrals.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient charts.
  • Coordinate with physicians and hospital departments while remaining patient-focused and safety-aware.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As a highly-skilled and compassionate ER Nurse you will deliver exceptional patient care in our fast-paced emergency room. You will treat everything from minor injuries to acutely or critically ill patients. Our team supports each other like family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

  • We have 15 beds and 5 fast track cardiac chairs with growing census

In this role
  • You will triage, assess and treat patients of all ages.
  • You will manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually.
  • You will act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
  • You will provide follow up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.
  • You must coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital, while being patient focused and safety aware at all times.
Qualifications
  • Licensure: Current Idaho RN license; compact license accepted, must obtain Idaho RN license within 90 days of employment.
  • Associate Degree
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support or obtain within 30 days or employment.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support or obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support or obtain within 6 months of employment.
  • Current NVCI (CPI) or obtain within 60 days of employment.
  • Experienced RNs are required to have current TNCC and ENPC or obtain within one year of employment.
  • 1+ years of ER experience preferred
