Job summary

The role requires a valid RN license in Louisiana, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within specified timeframes, with preference for a BSN and clinical specialty certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Experience: none mandatory.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
• CPI certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• PALS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Certified in a clinical specialty area preferred.

• Mandatory: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area.

Physical & Environmental Demands

Heavy work requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, or 25 to 50 pounds frequently, or 10 to 20 pounds constantly.
