Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries, prioritizing based on acuity and collaborating with the emergency team to stabilize and treat patients efficiently.

The role requires an RN license in the state and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, with 1-2 years in emergency or critical care preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs rapid triage and assessment of patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Administers medications, IV fluids, and treatments based on physician orders and protocols.
• Responds to trauma activations, codes, and other emergent situations.
• Monitors patients for changes in condition and escalates care as needed.
• Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges in a fast-paced environment.
• Provides patient and family education and emotional support during acute events.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required)

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification (Preferred)
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification (Preferred)
