Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Provides rapid assessment, triage, and nursing care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries, prioritizing based on acuity and collaborating with the ED team to stabilize and treat patients efficiently.

The role requires an RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs rapid triage and assessment of patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Administers medications, IV fluids, and treatments based on physician orders and protocols.
• Responds to trauma activations, codes, and other emergent situations.
• Monitors patients for changes in condition and escalates care as needed.
• Coordinates patient flow, admissions, transfers, and discharges in a fast-paced environment.
• Provides patient and family education and emotional support during acute events.

Education & Experience

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of emergency or critical care nursing experience (Preferred)

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Required)
