Job Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Perform activities in accordance with policies and guides.
• Supervise and delegate duties to ancillary personnel.
• Recognize and respond to critical presentations such as stroke and chest pain.
• Conduct medication reconciliation and patient education.
• Initiate discharge planning and provide discharge instructions.
• Use safe medication practices and document patient responses.
• Assist with orientation and training of staff.

Minimum Education:

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Required Skills:

• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively under stress.

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 3 months
• Handle with Care within 4 months

Licenses:

Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state license).

Minimum Work Experience: 1-3 years, with recent acute care experience preferred.
