AdventHealth in Manchester, KY is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for full-time night shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and adjust individualized care plans, administer medications, educate families, and coordinate with the medical team to ensure high-quality care.

You’ll maintain documentation and uphold safety standards while supporting patients and families. The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing professional development, and adherence to infection control

Qualifications

• RN required (Registered Nurse) per Licenses and Certifications.
• Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Assoc. degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate progress.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients.
• Supervise and delegate care within the healthcare team.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and intervene as needed.
