Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. The nurse works within our policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.

The role requires maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care and positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Current Georgia State RN licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate license.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible; No experience required; hospital setting preferred.

The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNCL Multistate License. Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
