Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, from birth onward. You will apply nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while upholding organizational standards and policies.

In this role, you will coordinate care activities of assigned staff to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient experiences within our hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• No experience required; New Graduates of a nursing program eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse—Georgia licensure current required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum).

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications
