Department Overview

We are seeking positive, self-motivated, engaged individuals excited for growth to join our team. Our 38-bed Emergency Department sees approximately 160 patients daily with various acuities. We are a primary Stroke and STEMI receiving facility capable of thrombolytic interventions. The department includes behavioral health pods, charge nurses, ED flow coordinators, paramedics, ED techs, PCTs, mental health technicians, and unit secretaries working closely with ED providers to deliver exceptional care. All staff must hold a BLS certification.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides holistic nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, within organizational policies and procedures. The nurse maintains practice standards, coordinates patient care activities, and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
