What We’re Looking For:
Passionate, quick-thinking RN who thrives in high-acuity, high-energy settings
Skilled at triaging, multitasking, and communicating in fast-paced environments
Team-focused and committed to delivering excellent emergency care to patients of all ages
1 year Nursing experience preferred
Pediatric Course ACT 548
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year
Crisis Prevention Training within six months
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one year
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) preferred
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
Emergency Nurses Pediatric Core Course (ENPC) preferred
Current Louisiana RN licensure
CEN Certification encouraged/preferred

What You Will Do:
Deliver high-quality, fast-response care to patients of all ages in our Emergency Department. Triage, assess, implement interventions, and support patients and families in urgent and often life-critical situations.
Coordinate patient assessment through collection of patient’s health data.
Analyze patient assessments to determine nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
Coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes.
Implement the interventions identified in the plan of care.
Evaluate the patient’s progress toward attainment of outcomes.
Triage assessment on all patients.
Perform focused assessments for all age populations.
Administer and monitor Procedural Sedation.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
