Position Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Upland Hills Health - Dodgeville Hospital Campus

Role & Department: Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department

Hours & Shift: Part-time (.9 FTE) day/evening (6 a.m. to 6 p.m.) shift. Weekend rotation occurs every 4th weekend, along with holiday rotations.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Provide total nursing care to patients in the Emergency/Urgent Care Department.
2. Assess patient conditions, evaluate, and implement nursing care plans according to ED standards.
3. Collaborate with the Emergency Services Team under the supervision of the Emergency Department Physician to deliver patient care.
4. Educate patients and families about care plans, goals, and the rationale behind them.

Qualifications:

1. Licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin.
2. Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
3. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, or willingness to obtain them.
4. Prior emergency/trauma nursing experience preferred.
5. Experience with EPIC medical record system is a plus but not required.
