Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Austin seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department; full-time, 36 hours per week, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a level IV trauma setting.

The facility offers Magnet recognition, a 24-bed main unit, 24/7 emergency services, and a multidisciplinary approach to care. RN will assess, plan, and evaluate patient care, adhering to the Texas Nursing Practice Act while coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

• Create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, oversee patient care using a professional practice model. Responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses. Secure patient travel. Know about patient needs in healthcare. Help patients and prevent issues. Follow the Texas Nursing Practice Act and delegate tasks based on condition and team competencies.

Essential Functions Of The Role
