Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 | Pay: Up to $54.00/hour + Weekend Differentials

Schedule: Full-Time, 11:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Job Description

Watertown Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department! This is a FULLTIME position working 3 - 12 hour shifts, from 11AM to 11PM.

Responsibilities include:
  • Perform nursing patient care duties for the assigned unit or department
  • Plan, provide, and evaluate total nursing care in accordance with the patient care philosophy
  • Facilitate individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
  • Maintain effective communication with other shifts and departments, and participate in educational activities
Essential Functions
  • Identify problems and implement solutions
  • Perform interventions such as specimen collection, wound care, and medication administration; document patient care
  • Plan and organize nursing care for assigned patients
  • Assist patients with daily activities and monitor their responses to interventions
  • Communicate patient status effectively with team members and families
  • Advocate for patient well-being
Qualifications

Education: Associates degree in Nursing required; Bachelors preferred

Licenses/Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, Handle with Care within 6 months; valid RN licensure in Georgia

Experience: Minimum 6 months in a direct patient care setting or entering Nurse Residency Program
