Job Overview

Adventist Health Tehachapi Valley has been providing high-quality healthcare services since 1934. Job Summary

Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients or groups of patients, adhering to established standards and the nursing process. Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff, coordinate care with other disciplines, and employ critical thinking, professional judgment, and discretion.

Minimum Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
  • CPR/BLS certification: Required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Experience in an acute care setting
Additional Certifications
  • ACLS or equivalent
  • PALS or equivalent
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Essential Functions
  • Assess patient data, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team and provide patient education.
  • Participate in discharge planning and delegate duties appropriately.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
