Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our Sandusky Family Practice (Main) and Bad Axe Specialty Clinic teams. This full-time position involves four days in Sandusky and one day in Bad Axe, with full benefits.

The CMA will assist providers, take vital signs, and support patient flow in a fast-paced clinic. Candidates should have prior CMA/CCMA/RMA credentials and experience in a physician's office, with strong patient communication and teamwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of patient care related tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the provider as necessary. Additional tasks include but are not limited to the use of our EMR system, registering patients, insurance verification, scanning medical records, phoning patients with results and proper medical documentation. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing quality patient care to all ages while maintaining patient confidentiality.
