Job summary

Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for the Sandusky Family Practice and Bad Axe Specialty Clinic. The position includes rooming patients, taking vital signs, and supporting the provider in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates with CMA/CCMA/RMA certification and prior physician-office experience are preferred. Excellent patient interaction and teamwork are essential, with full benefits included.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Physician’s office preferred.
• CMA/CCMA or RMA certification preferred.
• Excellent bedside manner and ability to engage patients with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Assist providers as needed and support workflow in a fast-paced clinic.
• Utilize EMR system for charting, registrations, and document management.
• Verify insurance and schedule follow-ups; maintain patient confidentiality.

Position: Certified Medical Assistant. Department: Sandusky Family Practice (Main) & Bad Axe Specialty Clinic. Main Location: Sandusky, MI. Hours: Full Time. Days. 4 days in Sandusky, 1 day in Bad Axe. Full Benefits. Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant. REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working in a Physician’s office


• CMA, CCMA, or RMA is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of patient care related tasks such as rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting the provider as necessary. Additional tasks include but are not limited to the use of our EMR system, registering patients, insurance verification, scanning medical records, phoning patients with results and proper medical documentation. The candidate must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while providing quality patient care to all ages while maintaining patient confidentiality.
